Summary of accommodation

Large sun terrace facing south east with electrically controlled sun shade. 3000 square metres of garden, terraced with lawns and fruit trees, completely secluded, offering total privacy.

Accommodation for 8 persons as follows: two double bedrooms, one twin bedroom, one double sofabed in the sejour (living room). Sun balcony on front bedroom. Back bedroom has access via stairs to the side terrace for evening sun, also accessed from the sejour.

Very large sejour of 60 square metres, with central open fire place and open plan stairs. Piano, with some music and a book collection are available in the sejour. Separate kitchen, shower room and separate toilet. Logs available. Electric heating throughout also. The Gîte is in good condition, simply and tastefully furnished.

Front double bedroom: A double bedroom with views over the valley. A French window opens onto a balcony above the sun terrace. Ample storage space is available in the wardrobe and cupboards.

Back double bedroom: A double bedroom with views over the garden and forested hillside beyond the house. A French window provides access to the top terrace of the garden near the washing line and fig tree. Ample storage space is available in the wardrobe and cupboards.

Twin bedroom: A twin bedded room on the ground floor. Double patio doors open onto the main sun terrace.

The Living room area: A comfortable living area with large sofa and sofabed, coffee tables, small desk, TV/DVD, and CD/Cassette/Radio player. There is a large enclosed fireplace with chimney rising through the middle of the room. Logs are available for the fire in the winter. Two double patio doors open onto the sun terrace.

Dining room area: The dining table is adjacent to the kitchen and seats eight comfortably, with a rise and fall light over the table (unless you prefer candlelight!).

The piano: The upright piano has a supply of mainly classical music in the piano stool. Next to the piano is a bookcase with jigsaws as well as a range of reading for adults and older children.

Kitchen: The kitchen is equipped with gas cooker, fridge freezer, microwave oven, electric kettle, toaster, coffee filter machine, together with crockery, cutlery and glassware for eight. Cleaning materials, fire extinguisher, and first aid kit are stored under the sink; basic foodstuffs such as salt, cooking oil and herbs are usually in stock. The kitchen looks out to the garden and the stone barbecue.

Petit Chalet: This older part of the building opens off the sun terrace. Here you will find the washing machine, garden furniture and indoor washing lines.

Sun Terrace: This is the main paved terrace in front of the house facing south east, with superb views across the valley. There is a stone table, and chairs are stored in the petit chalet. An electric sunshade is available for shade on the hottest days.
